> South Africa at the Toronto Film Festival

Bruce Shapiro and Wayne Floreani had the pleasure of meeting some of the South African actors at the South African reception during the Toronto International Film Festival. Among these actors were Ms. Moshidi Mothshegwa, Ms. Tessa Jaye and Ms. Bonnie Mbuli. There was a large South African contingent at the festival in support of the ten South African films being screened.

The South African High Commission and the National Film and Video Foundation hosted the reception on September 10 to promote the films as well as the Canadian - South African audio visual co-production agreement and recently announced financial incentives for producing films in South Africa.
