> Vancouver report on Risk Mitigation & CSR seminar

The Chamber held its acclaimed Risk Mitigation and Corporate Social Responsibility seminar for the first time in Vancouver on April 28, 2011 with Premier Sponsors Fasken Martineau LLP, Hatch and International SOS. Partners included AME BC, CIM, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, MineAfrica, On the Ground Group and PDAC. This full-day seminar explained in detail how companies can mitigate their risk in Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets through the implementation of effective CSR programs. The program featured expert speakers, questions and answers, case studies by successful Canadian companies and excellent networking opportunities.
